ABOUT PROJECT
This 2018 project deserves a special place here. It was a project for the Museum of Czech Car Body, in collaboration with the Brno graphic studio Omegadesign. It was also a project that opened doors to new opportunities for me and helped me get to where I am today.
The goal was to create an interactive application where both young and adult museum visitors could assemble their own model of a historical vehicle. At first glance, this sounds trivial, but the vehicle was to be constructed in parts across different rooms, according to what each room explained.
How did it work? The museum visitor entered the first room, where they printed a four-digit code, which they then entered into the application. First, they selected the type of vehicle they wanted to assemble and continued. They moved to the next room, where they entered their code and could add components, such as the chassis, to the vehicle. This continued until the last room, where they printed a certificate of having assembled their own historical vehicle.
The cherry on top was the creation of around 20 illustrated historical vehicles and their individual components based on period photographs provided by the Museum of Czech Car Body.
